While our medical services are comprehensive, PediPlace is concerned that our parents receive appropriate education about providing proper care to new born children and proper instruction on how to and when to access our services, particularly during a child’s first two years. 

This program is non-reimbursable by Medicaid and provided as a free service to patients families and occurs in conjunction with the child’s two week check-up. Our parent education provides information about proper check-ups, immunizations, nutrition, basic care, when and when not to use the emergency room, developmental expectations and safety. Classes are provided by PediPlace licensed medical providers and offered in English and Spanish.
