May 1, 2009 – PediPlace releases statement concerning H1N1 Flu Virus.

Throughout the year, staff and volunteers at PediPlace organize a variety of events to help raise money for our programs. Fundraising events allow community members to get involved, to donate money and to have a good time.

Declaration Dash 5K and Kids K
Benefiting PediPlace

July 4, Double Oak, TX
 
The North Texas Striders present the Declaration Dash 5K and Kids K in Double Oak, to be held on Saturday, July 4th, 2009. The 5 kilometer run or walk will begin at Double Oak Town Hall at 8:00 AM, come early for a Kid’s 1 kilometer race at 7:45 AM.

Double Oak Town Hall is located about 10 miles north of the D/FW Airport at 320 Waketon Rd, Double Oak, Texas 75077.

Early registration fees are $20 for the 5K ($25 late registration) and $15 for the Kids K.  Free T-shirt and goody bag to the first 300 registered.

Trophies for age group winners in the 5K, all Kids K runners get medals.

Big Fore Charity Golf Tournament
Wednesday, May 20, 2009 - 1:00 pm Shotgun Start

The Lewisville Noon Rotary 11th Annual Big Fore Charity Golf Tournament provided you an opportunity to have a great time while supporting PediPlace and 16 other local charities supported by. This year’s tournament was held May 20th at the Lantana Golf Club and raised more than $17,500 for PediPlace.

PediPlace began our year-long celebration of providing pediatric healthcare to Denton County with a gala evening March 26, 2009. The celebratory evening was emceed by the Honorable State Senator Jane Nelson and also honored PediPlace founders Dr. Mark Holt and Dr. Darla Kincaid for their vision and inspired leadership. PediPlace expresses its deepest gratitude to our sponsors and to event chairs Paula Wagner and Kate Conklin.
